EMIGRATION Canyon Historical Society (ECHS) is a volunteer organization based in Salt Lake City, Utah. The organization was founded in 1975 to preserve the history and culture of the area in and around Emigration Canyon, located at the eastern end of the Wasatch Mountains. ECHS is dedicated to the preservation and education of the area's unique history, and to the development of programs that promote the understanding and appreciation of the canyon's past.
