UTAH ARTS COUNCIL

The Utah Arts Council (UAC) is a non-profit organization based in Salt Lake City, Utah that works to promote, support and sustain the creative development of Utah's artists and arts organizations. Established in 1965, the UAC works to ensure that the arts are integral to the quality of life in Utah and to create an environment in which individuals and organizations can reach their full artistic potential.

The UAC is funded by the state legislature, the National Endowment for the Arts, and private donations. Through its programs, services, and grants, the UAC provides a wide range of opportunities for Utah's arts communities, including: technical assistance, professional development, community outreach, artist residencies, and funding.
