The Rio Linda-Elverta Historical Society (RLHS) is a non-profit organization located in Rio Linda, California. It was founded in 1993 to promote and preserve the history of the Rio Linda-Elverta area. RLHS works to promote interest in local history, recognize and preserve historic buildings, structures, and sites, and collect, record, and preserve artifacts and other historical material.
RLHS is run by a volunteer board of directors and staffed by volunteers. They host a variety of events throughout the year, including educational events, lectures, and guided tours. They also host special events, such as the annual Rio Linda-Elverta Days, the Rio Linda-Elverta Heritage Festival, and the Rio Linda-Elverta Homecoming.
