The Sierra Valley Museum of Natural History Foundation (SVMNHF) is a non-profit organization located in Blairsden, California. Founded in 1974, the Foundation is dedicated to the preservation and interpretation of the natural and cultural history of Sierra Valley, Plumas County, and the Northern Sierra Nevada. The Foundation works to preserve and interpret the area’s history, artifacts, and traditional knowledge through education, research, and public programs.
