The Texas Lakes Trail in Granbury, TX is a scenic drive that takes visitors on a journey through the heart of Texas. The trail is approximately 30 miles long and winds through some of the most beautiful scenery in the state, including rolling hills, sparkling lakes, and lush forests. Along the way, visitors can stop at a number of historic sites, such as the Granbury Opera House, which dates back to 1886.

The trail also takes visitors through several small towns, including Acton, which is known for its historic cemetery and the grave of Davy Crockett's widow, Elizabeth Crockett. Other notable stops along the trail include the Hood County Courthouse, which was built in 1890, and the Brazos Drive-In Theatre, which is one of the few remaining drive-in movie theaters in Texas.

In addition to its scenic beauty and historic sites, the Texas Lakes Trail is also a popular destination for outdoor enthusiasts. The area is home to several lakes, including Lake Granbury, which offers opportunities for fishing, boating, and swimming.
