The Caddo Mills Historical Society is a non-profit organization located in Caddo Mills, Texas. The society is dedicated to preserving the history and heritage of the town and its surrounding areas. The society was founded in 1976, and since then has been actively involved in collecting and preserving historical artifacts, documents, and photographs.

The Caddo Mills Historical Society has a museum that houses a collection of artifacts and memorabilia from the town's past. The museum features exhibits on the town's early settlers, the railroad, the cotton industry, and local businesses. The museum is open to the public and admission is free.

Old U.S. Post Office (Greenville, Texas) Historical marker for the old U.S. Post Office in Greenville, Texas. The plaque states:

Tradition says mail came from Jefferson in early days and was dropped at a saloon. Greenville Post Office was created in 1847, and occupied rented quarters until 1910, when this structure was built. Neo-classic in style, it became an important element in architectural development of the city. In 1930, it was enlarged. Audie Murphy joined the army in this building on June 20, 1942, his 18th birthday; later he became the most decorated soldier of World War II. The city of Greenville acquired the structure in 1973 for historic preservation.

The old Post Office was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974 (NRHP No. 74002081 as the Post Office Building).

Site of World War II Prisoner of War Camp Here in 1941, with the Hon. Sam Rayburn, Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, in attendance, a migratory labor camp was dedicated. With the coming of World War II later in the decade, however, federal officials converted the site for use as a camp to hold German prisoners of war. While here, the German soldiers worked on Princeton area farms, providing valuable labor assistance. For many years following the prisoners' release in 1946, this site again served as a camp for migrant workers.

Texas Sesquicentennial 1836-1986

Crop Circler I found this in an early morning spin near Dallas in Texas, before a meeting. With a little research, it isn't alas from another planet, but rather a 1960's vision of what the future home should look like. 100 or so of these, based on the designs of a Finnish architect were built at the time, less than 50 remain around the world. The idea is that the home could be easily assembled and disassembled, so it could move with the owners, working equally well as a beach chalet, a cabin in the woods or a ski chalet.

This one has been completely gutted and vandalized, but if you look closely, you'll see an alien indoors.
