Fayerweather House is a historic mansion located in Kingston, Rhode Island. It was built in the early 19th century by William Fayerweather, a prominent local merchant and shipbuilder. The house is a two-story, wood-frame structure with a gambrel roof, clapboard siding, and two-story portico with Tuscan columns. The interior features several original architectural features such as intricate woodwork, ornamental mantels, and a large central staircase.

The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1971 and is now owned and operated by the University of Rhode Island. It is used for special events, meetings, and receptions, as well as for educational programs and research. The house is surrounded by gardens and a pond, and its grounds have been used for a variety of events, including outdoor concerts, weddings, and art shows.

Fayerweather House is a reminder of Kingston’s colonial past and an example of the grand homes built by the area’s wealthy merchants. It is a popular tourist attraction in the area, and visitors can take tours of the house, gardens, and grounds.
