9/11 MEMORIAL GARDEN OF REFLECTION

The 9/11 Memorial Garden of Reflection is a serene and reflective space located in Yardley, Pennsylvania. It was created to honor the 2,973 victims of the September 11th terrorist attacks, including 18 Bucks County residents. The garden was designed by a team of architects, landscape architects, and engineers and sits on five acres of land.

The centerpiece of the garden is a large, black-granite reflecting pool, which is surrounded by a walkway made of over 1,000 engraved pavers, each one dedicated to a victim of the attacks. The pool is 30-feet square and is illuminated at night by 2,973 fiber-optic lights, one for each victim.

The garden also features a 30-foot steel beam recovered from the World Trade Center, which stands as a testament to the strength and resilience of the American people. There is also a 9/11 educational exhibit, which features artifacts and photos from the attacks, as well as a meditation area and a small amphitheater for events and ceremonies.

The garden is open year-round and offers a peaceful and reflective space for visitors to pay their respects to those who lost their lives on September 11th, 2001. It serves as a reminder of the tragedy and the importance of unity and acceptance in times of crisis.
