The International Institute for Sport and Olympic History (IISOH) is a non-profit organization located in State College, Pennsylvania. The mission of the institute is to preserve and promote the history and culture of sport and the Olympic Games.

The IISOH was founded in 2010 by Dr. Norbert Müller, a professor of kinesiology at Penn State University, and is housed in a 20,000 square foot facility that includes a library, museum, and research center. The library contains over 20,000 books and journals on sport and Olympic history, as well as rare and unique materials such as original Olympic posters, photographs, and programs. The museum features exhibits on the history of the Olympic Games, famous athletes and coaches, and the evolution of sports equipment and technology.

The Tree Top Startrail An image of Lyra was photographed through an opening in a dense forest. The photo was taken while camping in Penn Roosevelt State Park just south of State College, PA. The image was made of 46 twenty second exposures. (Canon T2i, Canon 8-15 f/4L lens @ 11mm, ISO 3200) The individual photos were stacked using StarStaX.
