The Everhart Museum in Scranton, Pennsylvania is a non-profit educational institution dedicated to the preservation and interpretation of natural science and fine art. Founded in 1908 by Dr. Isaiah Everhart, the museum houses a comprehensive collection of more than a million objects, including taxidermy, fossils, minerals, artifacts, paintings, photographs, and sculptures.

The Everhart’s galleries are divided into two main collections: the Natural History Collection and the Fine Arts Collection. The Natural History Collection includes an extensive display of taxidermy and fossils, as well as an interactive discovery center for children. Highlights include a replica of a Carboniferous-era coal mine and a diorama of a Pleistocene cave. The Fine Arts Collection features rotating exhibitions of art from the 17th century to present day, and includes works by Pennsylvania artists.

The museum’s outdoor sculpture garden features a number of sculptures, while the indoor theater is used for screenings and performances. The Everhart Museum is a member of the American Alliance of Museums, and is accredited by the American Association of Museums.
