The Rodin Museum in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is a public art museum dedicated to the work of legendary French sculptor Auguste Rodin. The museum is located in Center City, Philadelphia and is a part of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. The Rodin Museum holds the largest collection of Rodin’s sculptures outside of Paris, and it is the only museum in the United States dedicated exclusively to the work of this world-renowned sculptor.

The museum’s collection consists of bronze and marble sculptures created by Rodin, as well as plaster casts, drawings, and manuscripts. The museum also holds a number of works by other artists inspired by Rodin’s work. Highlights of the collection include such famous sculptures as The Thinker, The Kiss, and The Age of Bronze.

The museum was established in 1929, when the city of Philadelphia purchased the Rodin collection of French businessman Jules Mastbaum. The collection was housed in a French-style mansion, and the building was later expanded to accommodate the museum’s growing collections. In 2012, the museum was renovated and reopened, and it now features a modern gallery space.

The Rodin Museum offers visitors a variety of educational programs and activities related to Rodin’s artwork, including lectures, workshops, art classes, and special exhibitions. The museum also offers guided tours of the permanent collection and the gardens that surround the museum. The Rodin Museum is open to the public on Wednesday through Sunday.
