Chisholm Trail Historical Preservation Society is a non-profit organization located in Yukon, Oklahoma, dedicated to preserving the history of the Chisholm Trail and its impact on the American West. The society was founded in 1983 by a group of local historians and enthusiasts who recognized the importance of preserving the heritage of the trail, which was a major cattle-driving route from Texas to Kansas during the late 19th century.

The society's mission is to collect, preserve, and promote the history of the Chisholm Trail through educational programs, exhibits, and events. They have a small museum located in downtown Yukon that features displays of artifacts, photographs, and documents related to the trail and the cowboys who drove cattle along it. The museum also has a gift shop that sells books, souvenirs, and other items related to the history of the trail.

In addition to their museum, the society sponsors a variety of events throughout the year, including a Chisholm Trail Festival, a cowboy poetry gathering, and educational programs for schools and community groups. They also work closely with other organizations and agencies to promote the preservation of historic sites and landmarks along the trail.
