Palmer House is a historic house located in Northfield, Ohio. It was built in 1835 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The house was originally owned by Samuel and Lucy Palmer, who were early settlers in the Northfield area.

The Palmer House is a two-story brick building with a gabled roof and a central entrance. The front of the house features a large porch with Corinthian columns and a balcony above. The interior of the house has been restored to its original 19th-century appearance, with period furnishings and decor.

The Palmer House is significant for its association with the Underground Railroad. Samuel Palmer was a prominent abolitionist and is said to have used the house as a stop on the Underground Railroad, helping slaves escape to freedom in Canada. The house also served as a station for the Women’s Christian Temperance Union in the late 19th century.

Today, the Palmer House is open to the public as a museum and cultural center. Visitors can tour the house and learn about its history and significance in the Northfield community. The house also hosts a variety of events throughout the year, including concerts, lectures, and community gatherings.
