1st Avenue, Middletown, OH Built in 1887, this Queen Anne-style house features a red brick exterior, a gabled roof, one-over-one double-hung windows, a two-story bay window on the front facade, a rough-hewn stone base, a front porch with turned columns, and a picture window on the front facade with a stained glass transom.  The house is a contributing structure in the South Main Street Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.

The Museum at Friends Home is a historic site located in Waynesville, Ohio. The site serves as a tribute to the Quaker community of Waynesville and the surrounding area. The museum is housed in a two-story brick building that was originally built in 1905 as a dormitory for Earlham College students. The building was later used as a nursing home for several decades before being converted into a museum in 1977.
