The Outer Banks Conservationists (OBC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting and preserving the natural habitats, wildlife, and cultural heritage of the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Based in Manteo, North Carolina, the OBC is a voluntary organization comprised of individuals, families, and businesses committed to conserving the unique Outer Banks environment.

The OBC works in partnership with local and state organizations to protect the Outer Banks from development, preserve its fragile ecosystem, and ensure that its many resources remain intact for future generations. Through education, research, and advocacy, the OBC strives to maintain a balance between development and conservation in the Outer Banks. The OBC also works to promote responsible stewardship of the fragile Outer Banks environment and to ensure that the public, both local and national, has access to the area's many resources.
