The Hooper House Preservation Foundation is a non-profit organization based in Sylva, North Carolina that is dedicated to the preservation and restoration of the historic Hooper House. Built in 1882, the Hooper House is a stunning example of Queen Anne Victorian architecture and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The foundation was established in 2002 by a group of concerned citizens who were passionate about preserving the unique history and architecture of the Hooper House. Since then, they have worked tirelessly to raise funds and awareness to support the ongoing restoration of the property.
In addition to their preservation efforts, the foundation also strives to educate the public about the rich history of the Hooper House and the surrounding community. They offer guided tours of the property, as well as educational programs and events for visitors of all ages.
Thanks to the dedication and hard work of the Hooper House Preservation Foundation, this historic landmark is being lovingly restored to its former glory. With their continued efforts, the Hooper House will be a treasured part of the Sylva community for generations to come.
