The International Civil Rights Center and Museum (ICRCM) is located in Greensboro, North Carolina and is devoted to the preservation and celebration of the history of the Civil Rights Movement. Opened in 2010, the ICRCM is housed in the building that once served as the Woolworth Department Store. It was here that the Greensboro Four – four African-American college students – took the first steps of the sit-in movement in 1960.

The museum is divided into several galleries, each dedicated to a different aspect of the Civil Rights Movement. These include the Greensboro Four Gallery, which commemorates the sit-in movement and its impact on the Civil Rights Movement; the Civil Rights Gallery, which is devoted to the history of the movement; and the African-American History Gallery, which focuses on the achievements of African-Americans throughout history. The museum also features a variety of interactive exhibits, films, and educational programs.

In addition to its museum, the ICRCM is also home to the International Civil Rights Walk of Fame, which honors individuals who have made significant contributions to the advancement of civil rights. The museum also serves as a venue for special events, including lectures and concerts.

The ICRCM is a living testament to the power of the Civil Rights Movement and a reminder of the triumphs and struggles of African-Americans in the fight for justice and equality. It is a place of education and inspiration, and a testament to the strength of the human spirit.
