1964 New York World's Fair miniature train This miniature 16 inch gauge train was built by the Alan Herschel Company and delivered to the LIRR exhibit at the New York World’s Fair in March 1964. After being part of the LIRR exhibit at the 1964-65 World’s Fair, the train went to the Grumman Aerospace Corp. Calverton, NY site where it was a featured attraction at the annual Grumman Family Picnic. Upon closing of the Calverton site the train was given to the Village of Patchogue, NY which, in turn, donated it to the Railroad Museum of Long Island in Riverhead, New York were it operates.

Long Island Railroad No. 39's Tender Long Island Railroad No. 39 is one of 31 Pennsylvania Railroad Class G5 4-6-0 steam locomotives built in the 1920s for the LIRR. Currently its boiler and firebox are residing at the Strasburg Railroad awaiting a possible restoration to operating condition one day while the rest of the engine resides at the Riverhead Railroad Museum of Long Island.
