The Longwood Alliance is a non-profit organization located in Middle Island, New York. It is dedicated to improving the quality of life of the people living in the Longwood Central School District, which covers Middle Island, Ridge and Yaphank. The Alliance was formed in 1998 to address the need for greater access to and use of the area's natural resources and to serve as an advocate for the community.

The Alliance works to promote the conservation of natural resources, including the preservation of open space, the protection of watersheds, and the enhancement of recreational opportunities. The Alliance is also involved in community development and economic revitalization efforts. It works with local businesses, community groups and government officials to ensure that all citizens have access to essential services and infrastructure, such as quality healthcare, public transportation, and public safety.

The Alliance also promotes health and wellness initiatives, including physical activity programs, nutrition education, and health screenings. It works to provide access to mental health and substance abuse services, and to support youth activities.

The Longwood Alliance has successfully partnered with local organizations to improve the quality of life for residents in the Longwood Central School District. It has been a leader in advocating for better public services, and in creating opportunities for economic growth. The Alliance is committed to ensuring that all citizens have access to the same opportunities and benefits that are available to other residents in the Longwood Central School District.
