The Buffalo Niagara Convention and Visitors Bureau Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in Buffalo, New York. Founded in 1992, the Foundation is dedicated to the development of the Buffalo Niagara region by promoting the area as a destination for leisure, business and convention travelers.
The Foundation works closely with the Buffalo Niagara Convention and Visitors Bureau (BNCVB) to support tourism related projects and initiatives that benefit the community. The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization and is the only organization in the region solely devoted to promoting and marketing the Buffalo Niagara region.
The Foundation provides financial support to the BNCVB in the form of grants and sponsorships to help fund projects and programs that promote tourism, enhance the region’s image and attract visitors. Additionally, the Foundation is involved in several community initiatives, including the Buffalo Niagara Cultural Alliance, which works to strengthen the region’s cultural assets.
The Foundation also manages the Buffalo Niagara Visitors Center, located at the corner of Main Street and Elmwood Avenue in downtown Buffalo. The Center serves as an information hub for visitors to the region and provides area maps, brochures and other resources.
The Buffalo Niagara Convention and Visitors Bureau Foundation is committed to helping the Buffalo Niagara region realize its potential as a vibrant, welcoming destination for visitors from around the world.
