The pool and rock features were entirely artificial. ------------- The film Dante's Peak was filmed largely in or around the town of Wallace, Idaho in 1996, with additional locations in California. This collection recreates and expands my original 2007 edition, comparing scenes from the movie with their real life counterparts, taken in 2022 (this campground was closed after a nearby wildfire in 2017).
