The Museum Association of Montana is a non-profit organization located in Red Lodge, Montana. Founded in 1954, the association works to promote the preservation and interpretation of Montana's rich cultural and natural history. The organization is made up of over 60 museums, historical societies, and other cultural institutions from across the state of Montana.

The Museum Association of Montana provides a variety of services to its member organizations, including professional development opportunities, advocacy and networking, and access to grants and other funding opportunities. The association also hosts an annual conference, which brings together museum professionals and enthusiasts from across the state to share ideas and best practices.

Nuphar polysepala - great yellow pond lily Nuphar polysepala growing in a pond (Reeves Lake) along West Rosebud Creek and the West Rosebud Road, south of Fishtail, Stillwater County, Montana. The water has receded by late summer leaving the once floating leaf pads protruding above the pond surface.
Arenaria congesta var. congesta - ballhead sandwort Ballhead sandwort growing on talus on the east side of Sundance Pass, Lake Fork of Rock Creek drainage, Beartooth Mountains, Carbon County, Montana. This form with rounded sepal tips, var. congesta, is most common in Montana in the Bitteroot and Absaroka-Beartooth regions, according to Lesica (2022).
