The Lee's Summit Historical Society is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and sharing the history of Lee’s Summit, Missouri. It was founded in 1978 with the mission of preserving the history of the city and educating the public on the importance of local history. The Society is headquartered in the historic old City Hall building in downtown Lee’s Summit, which was built in 1894.
