Omelette smiles picture-perfect on the diner plate Although a strip of bacon peeks out, in the main this is a vegetable-filled special omelette at this long-time downtown diner, once a favorite of farmers doing business in the town or people at the twice weekly stockyard sales (ending in the 1970s). Ownership has changed over the life of the building, but the current people have been at it for a generation, so it has a familiar atmosphere, well-loved and with a steady stream of loyal customers, too.
