The Huron County Nature Center Inc. is located in Port Austin, Michigan, and is a non-profit organization that has been providing environmental education and outdoor recreational opportunities to the community since 1982. The center is situated on 280 acres of diverse natural habitat, which includes forests, wetlands, meadows, and ponds.

Campground Pic I'm not sure what that building does, but it's not an outhouse. Port Crescent State Park, near the tip of Michigan's thumb, on 8/25/2015. We remember this as a bad vacation, mostly because we didn't much like the campground and the weather was extremely windy and somewhat chilly for our entire stay. And we expected more hiking trails than we actually found. On the other hand, we found a couple decent restaurants and used the park as a base for exploring much of the thumb. 'Twasn't a total loss.
