Buried in the Free Ground A monument commemorating all those individuals who were buried in the "free ground" from 1873 to 1916 in Gracelawn Cemetary in Elkhart, Indiana.  Generally, these people had no resources or family to provide burial, so they were interred in a pauper's cemetery.

The Underground Railroad Society of Cass County is a non-profit organization located in Vandalia, Michigan.
