The Marshall Historical Society Honolulu House Museum is a historic home located in Marshall, Michigan. The house was built in 1860 by Abner Pratt, who was the first American consul to the Sandwich Islands, now known as Hawaii. The house features a blend of Italianate and Gothic Revival architectural styles.

We Went for a Walk Here's Joan, framed by a tree and a bush, on a trail called <a href="https://www.michiganaudubon.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/Baker_MM-Trail-Map_Illustrated.pdf" rel="noreferrer nofollow">Meadow and Marshland</a>. She's carrying her then brand-new Nikon 1 J1. A dozen years ago today Joan and I spent part of the afternoon wandering around Michigan Audubon's Bernard Baker Sanctuary, where I caught this photo. Baker's long been one of our favorite hikes. <i>This is the March photo for my 2024 calendar.</i>
