Yesteryear House-Central Mine is a historic site in Clarkston, MI. It is located off of Dixie Highway, just north of I-75 and is nestled among the trees, providing a scenic and serene backdrop for the 19th century structures. The property includes the Yesteryear House, a two-story, Greek Revival farmhouse built in 1864; an old log smokehouse; a restored barn; and a small cemetery. The house is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is owned by the Clarkston Historical Society.

The main house is a two-story, five-bay, Greek Revival-style house with a steeply pitched, gabled roof and a two-story porch. The house is built with a mixture of materials, including fieldstone, brick, and wood. Inside, the house has been restored to its original 19th century appearance, including the original woodwork and trim, as well as period furnishings.

The barn is a two-story, four-bay barn, built in the 1930s. The barn is a gable-roofed structure, with a large hayloft, two horse stalls, and a tack room. The barn has been restored with new siding and shingles and is now used to store farm equipment and other items.

The property also includes an old log smokehouse, which was built in the 1840s and was used to cure meats and other foods. The smokehouse was also restored and is now used as a tool shed.

Finally, the property includes a small cemetery, where a number of local families are buried. The cemetery is surrounded by a wrought iron fence and is a reminder of the long history of the Yesteryear House-Central Mine site.
