Friends of the North Brookfield Town House Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and restoring the historic North Brookfield Town House. Located on the corner of North Main Street and Church Street in the heart of North Brookfield, Massachusetts, the Town House was built in 1835 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The mission of Friends of the North Brookfield Town House Inc. is to preserve, restore, and maintain the Town House for the benefit of the citizens of North Brookfield. The organization works closely with the North Brookfield Historical Commission and town officials to ensure that the Town House is kept in its original condition.
The Town House is used for meetings and events, including holiday gatherings, lectures, concerts, and art shows. The organization hosts many fundraising events throughout the year, such as a gala dinner and auction, to help raise money for the ongoing restoration and maintenance of the Town House.
In addition to preserving and restoring the Town House, Friends of the North Brookfield Town House Inc. also works to educate the public about the history of North Brookfield and the importance of preserving its historic buildings.
