The Massachusetts Aviation Historical Society Inc (MAHS) is a non-profit organization located in Wakefield, Massachusetts. It was founded in 1983 by local aviation enthusiasts who wanted to preserve the history of aviation in the state. The MAHS is dedicated to the education, preservation, and celebration of the history of aviation in Massachusetts, New England, and beyond.
The MAHS is made up of a Board of Directors, members, and volunteers who serve as a resource for the general public. The organization offers educational programs and activities, including lectures, seminars, and museum visits. It also hosts an annual aviation award event honoring individuals who have made significant contributions to the advancement of aviation.
