The Historical Society of Old Newbury (HSON) is a non-profit organization based in Newburyport, Massachusetts. Founded in 1891, the society is dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the history of the greater Newburyport area. The society owns and operates several historic properties in the area, including the Colonel Timothy Bigelow House, the William Bartlett House, and the Spencer-Peirce-Little Farm.

The society's headquarters is located in the historic Sundial House, a restored 18th century house in downtown Newburyport. HSON has a museum that displays artifacts and documents related to the history of Newburyport, as well as a library that contains books, manuscripts, photographs, and other materials related to the city's past. The society also hosts a variety of events throughout the year, including lectures, guided tours, and other programs.
