Todd's Inheritance Historic Site is a 18th-century plantation house located in Baltimore, Maryland. The house was built in 1664 by Thomas Todd, a prominent tobacco planter, and was later passed down through several generations of the Todd family. The house and its surrounding land are now a designated historic site, maintained by the Baltimore County Department of Recreation and Parks.

The house itself is a two-story brick building with a steeply pitched roof and a central chimney. It has been restored to its original condition, with period furnishings and décor. Visitors can tour the house and see how the Todd family would have lived in the 18th century.

The surrounding land includes a garden and a small cemetery where members of the Todd family are buried. There is also a reconstructed slave cabin on the property, which provides insight into the lives of the enslaved people who worked on the plantation.

Baltimore: Westminster Burial Ground - A La Memorie D’Edgar Allan Poe This memorial originally in brass, was brought from France by Count F. de Byron-Khun et Prince Edgard de Waldeck under the auspices of the French Literary Society and placed here in the presence of The French Consul Mr. L. Rabilion June the 25th, 1921. When Edgar Allan Poe (1809-1849) died under mysterious circumstances in 1849, he was buried in an unmarked grave in the back of the Westminster Burying Ground, befitting of his financial and social status at the time. In 1875, the "Pennies for Poe" campaign culminated in the erection of a more appropriate monument, prominently placed at the front of the graveyard. Poe's remains were exhumed and reburied there, along with his aunt/mother-in-law Maria Clemm. His wife Virginia died in 1847, but it wasn't until 1865 that her remains were moved to the monument. The Westminster Burial Ground, which along with Westminster Presbyterian Church sits on the grounds of the University of Maryland's School of Law at 519 West Fayetteville Street, was established in 1787 by the First Presbyterian Church. When the church was erected in 1852, it was constructed on brick arches, elevated above the graves, creating the "Baltimore Catacombs." A number of Famous Marylanders are interred here, including many Revolutionary patriots and veterans of the War of 1812. Its most famous resident, though, is American author Edgar Allan Poe. Baltimore - Federal Hill: Federal Hill Park - Armistead Monument The Armistead Monument , designed by the architectural firm of G. Metzger, was originally erected on Eutaw Place in 1882 and later moved to its current location at Federal Hill. It honors Colonel George Armistead, who was he commander of Fort McHenry during the successful defense against the British assault in the War of 1812, which inspired the "Star-Spangled Banner."
Baltimore - Federal Hill: Federal Hill Park - Major General Samuel Smith This 8-foot tall bronze statue of Major General Samuel Smith, designed by Hans Schuler, was originally installed in Wyman Park in 1917 as part of the National Star Spangled Banner Centennial Commission. It was moved to the newly created Sam Smith Park in the 1950's, and relocated to its current home in Federal Hill Park in 1970. Major General Samuel Smith was a distinguished military leader and the ranking officer of Baltimore's militia during the War of 1812. He notably took charge of fortifying the city's defenses at the Battle of Baltimore. He also served as the 9th Mayor of Baltimore, represented Maryland as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives and a two-time United States Senator, including as President pro tempore.

The fort was later used as a military prison during the Civil War and as a hospital in World War I, and was designated a national park in 1925 and a National Monument and Historic Shrine in 1939, becoming the only dual-designated national monument and historic shrine in the United States.

The Francis Scott Key Bridge, informally, Key Bridge or Beltway Bridge, was a steel arch continuous through truss bridge that spanned the lower Patapsco River and outer Baltimore Harbor/Port in Maryland. Opened in 1977, it carried the it carried the Baltimore Beltway (Interstate 695 or I-695) between Dundalk in Baltimore County and Hawkins Point, an isolated southern neighborhood of Baltimore.
Annapolis - USNA Museum: Gallery of Ships The United States Naval Academy Museum, located at Preble Hall within the Academy campus, features two floors of exhibits about the development and role of the U.S. Navy, spread across area of 12,000 square feet with four galleries. The museum's history dates back to 1845, when it was founded as the Naval School Lyceum. In 1849, President James K. Polk directed the Navy's collection of historic flags be sent to the new Naval School at Annapolis for care and display, establishing one of the museum's oldest collections. The Naval Academy Lyceum of the 19th and early 20th centuries was located in several places around the Naval Academy Yard, before the construction of Preble Hall in 1939. From 2007–2008, Preble Hall underwent a complete renovation to turn the building into a modern museum, which officially reopened in the summer of 2009. The second floor of the museum houses the Class of 1951 Gallery of Ships, featuring one of the world's finest collections of warship models from the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries including the Rogers Ship Model Collection, displayed with four dioramas including this one that illustrations a ship model maker's shop, circa 1700. The United States Naval Academy, the second oldest of the five U.S. service academies, was established in 1845 by Secretary of the Navy George Bancroft to educate midshipmen for service in the officer corps of the United States Navy and United States Marine Core. Approximately 1,200 "plebes" enter the academy each summer. About 1,000 midshipmen graduate and commission each year. The 338-acre campus, known as the "Yard," is located on the former grounds of Fort Severn, and is home to many historic sites, buildings and monuments.
