Tripod Jungle Notable: The Seestar S50 All-in-One Smart Telescope, tallest object, just right of center; the SkyWatcher Solarquest automatic solar finder and tracker, received on this very day in the rain, and not yet used (both of the foregoing for the upcoming solar eclipse); the silver tripod, a 51-year-old Silk Master Deluxe that works like new; a Snap-on tools extra-bright LED lamp (modified to fit a light stand) with excellent daylight balance and always cool to the touch. Tripods not shown: a giant heavy-duty Silk more than 40 years old; a Manfrotto video tripod; and a Questar Tri-Stand, and a couple of smaller tripods. Yes, that's a gallon of white primer. As usual, I have forgotten what I bought it for.

This <i>was</i> our dining room before my late sister-in-law became ill with cancer. We gave the table away to make room for a hospital bed for her, and after her death, with little family remaining. we stopped doing holiday dinners and I took the room over for my office and photography gear.

The Howard Peters Rawlings Conservatory and Botanic Gardens is a historic landmark located in Baltimore, Maryland.
