Arkansas State University (ASU) is a public university located in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Founded in 1909, the university is the flagship campus of the Arkansas State University System and the second largest university in the state. ASU offers over 140 undergraduate and graduate degree programs in a variety of disciplines, including Agriculture, Business, Education, Engineering, Liberal Arts, Nursing, and Science.

ASU is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and holds memberships in the American Council on Education, the American Association of State Colleges and Universities, and the Association of American Universities. The university is home to the Carl R. Reng Student Union, the first student union in the state of Arkansas, and a variety of cultural, educational, and recreational facilities.

ASU's athletics program competes in the NCAA Division I Sun Belt Conference and includes 18 men's and women's teams. The university's mascot is the Red Wolves and the school colors are maroon and white.

ASU's main campus covers over 1,200 acres in Jonesboro and includes over 100 buildings, many of which are equipped with the latest technology in teaching and learning. The University also operates four branch campuses located in Beebe, Heber Springs, Mountain Home, and Newport.
