This is the mother alligator on the log with the babies from the other two shots adjacent in the photostream. There's one baby on her back in this shot. Okay, so this was a seasonal lake, but they built the levee in 1952 to make it a year round lake. Baby alligators on log with mom There was one on mama's back. You can zoom for more detail on this one. I didn't know the mums looked after them after they hatched. Easter 2024. We hiked around Lake Martin. It was mostly cloudy, with the sun out occasionally briefly.
