Lexington Financial Center, Main Street and Mill Street, Lexington, KY Built in 1987, this Postmodern-style skyscraper was designed by Sherman Carter Barnhart for the Webb Companies to serve as the headquarters of the Webb Companies, as well as a commercial office building.  The building is the tallest building in Lexington, standing 31 stories and 410 feet (125 meters) tall.  The building features a blue-tinted glass exterior, an octagonal footprint, a trapezoid-shaped roof, and a plaza around the base.  The building today houses the Lexington offices of Fifth Third Bank, among other office tenants.

The University of Kentucky (UK) is a public research university located in Lexington, Kentucky in the United States. It was founded in 1865 as the Agricultural and Mechanical College of Kentucky and was later renamed the University of Kentucky in 1916. The university has over 30,000 undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in its various programs.

The campus covers more than 800 acres and features 16 colleges, including the College of Agriculture, Food and Environment, the College of Arts and Sciences, and the Gatton College of Business and Economics. The university has over 200 undergraduate majors and 90 graduate programs, with majors ranging from agriculture to engineering to the arts.

The university is known for its research in agriculture, engineering, and medicine. UK is home to several research centers and institutes, including the Markey Cancer Center, the Center for Applied Energy Research, and the Center for Advanced Materials.

The university has a rich athletic history and is a member of the Southeastern Conference (SEC). The university's athletic teams, known as the Wildcats, have won numerous championships in basketball, football, and other sports. The campus also features several museums and art galleries, including the Singletary Center for the Arts, the Art Museum at UK, and the Kentucky Museum.
