The Logan Area Historical Society is a nonprofit organization based in Logan, Kansas, dedicated to preserving and promoting the history of the Logan area. Established in 1976, the society operates a museum located on Main Street, which offers visitors a glimpse into the rich cultural heritage of the region.

The museum's exhibits showcase artifacts and memorabilia from the early settlement of the area, including Native American artifacts, pioneer tools and equipment, and an extensive collection of photographs and documents. Some of the museum's most notable exhibits include a restored one-room schoolhouse, a replica of a pioneer cabin, and a display of antique farming equipment.

In addition to maintaining the museum, the Logan Area Historical Society hosts a variety of events and programs throughout the year, including historical reenactments, guest speakers, and educational workshops. This church was one of the three churches which provided the place of worship to the many residents of Nicodemus. It was closed for religious services in the 19-0's*."
