The Old State House Museum in Little Rock, Arkansas, is the oldest standing state capitol building west of the Mississippi River. Built from 1833 to 1842, the building is an example of Greek Revival architecture, with a two-story frame structure topped by a dome and surrounded by four porticos. The museum is home to many artifacts of historical interest, including a Confederate battle flag, a portrait of Abraham Lincoln, and the desk of President Bill Clinton.

The museum's exhibits tell the story of Arkansas history, from its early days as a French colony to its admission to the Union in 1836. Visitors can explore the historic chambers and hallways of the museum, as well as a number of interactive exhibits. The museum also offers educational programs, special events, and guided tours.

One of the museum's most popular exhibits is the Arkansas Civil War Collection, which includes an extensive collection of artifacts from the state's involvement in the Civil War. Other exhibits focus on Arkansas' Native American heritage, its role in the Civil Rights Movement, and its unique culture and cuisine.

The Old State House Museum is open to the public Tuesday through Saturday, from 10am to 5pm. Admission is free, and the museum is accessible to all. The museum also offers a variety of special events throughout the year, including lectures, live music, and film screenings.
