The Yuma County Live Steamers Association Inc (YCLSA) is a non-profit organization based in Yuma, Arizona. Founded in 1983, the YCLSA promotes the hobby of live steam railroading. The organization operates a 7.5 inch gauge railroad and offers members the opportunity to run their own live steam locomotives.

The YCLSA is located at the Yuma County Fairgrounds and is open to the public on the first Sunday of every month from 10am-2pm. Visitors can ride the train and visit the museum, which houses a collection of model trains, railway artifacts, tools, and memorabilia.

The organization hosts several events throughout the year, including the annual Yuma County Live Steamers Festival, which features rides on the train, a swap meet, and a variety of model locomotives and railroad-related vendors. The modified C-130 carries the team’s maintenance and support equipment and has its own moment in the sun during air shows as it performs its aerobatic maneuvers for about 15 minutes ahead of the Blue Angels. Fat Albert’s nickname is a direct reference to the 1970s children’s cartoon &quot;The Adventures of Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids.&quot; The nickname was given to the C-130 by Marine Corps Blue Angel pilots at the time it was introduced in 1970.

The Museum’s P-38J, built in Burbank, California and delivered into service in May 1944, has the distinction of being the 5,018th P-38 built - halfway to the total number of “Lightnings” produced. It was assigned to the 483rd Air Base Squadron in Santa Maria, California - a Replacement Training Unit providing combat crew training for P-38s during WWII. In September 1945, the aircraft transferred to the Hancock College of Aeronautics where it was used to instruct maintenance personnel. The Museum acquired the aircraft in 1959. In 1988, it was restored to flight thanks to a generous donation from Bob and Josie Pond. The museum's P-38 was used in the filming of Iron Eagle III.
