The Glendale Arizona Historical Society was founded in 1976 to preserve and document the history of Glendale and its surrounding areas. The Society serves as a repository for the city's past, collecting, preserving and exhibiting artifacts, manuscripts, photographs and oral histories. The Society also serves as a resource for the Glendale community and its surrounding areas, offering educational programs, lectures, tours and exhibits.

The Glendale Arizona Historical Society is headquartered in the historic Sahuaro Ranch Park, located in the heart of Glendale. The park is the site of several historic buildings, including the Sahuaro Ranch House, a Queen Anne-style Victorian Mansion built in 1898, and the stone barn, which dates back to the early 1900s. The Society also maintains a museum in downtown Glendale, which houses a collection of artifacts related to the city's history.

The Society offers a variety of programs and events throughout the year, including lectures, workshops and tours. The Society also hosts a variety of special events such as the annual Glendale Antique Street Fair, the Glendale Historic Home Tour, the Glendale History Fair and more. The Society also provides research services to members and the general public.

Mille-Feuille of Fruits - Christopher's Restaurant This was a wonderful interlude. Christopher's different interpretation of a mille-feuille (meel foy). Between the refreshing &quot;Something Cool&quot; and before the chocolate dessert. Strawberries, mille-fuille, and whipped crème fraiche. The mille-fuille had sort of a honey taste.

We celebrated my birthday with a special night at Christopher's. Christopher has long been recognized as one of the best chefs. It is celebratory, elegant, and therefore expensive. Even to get in, you have to belong to the Wrigley Club. I have eaten at Michelin starred restaurants. Christopher's is every bit as good. If Michelin gets around to rating Arizona restaurants, I have no doubt Christopher's will be recognized.

The French “mille feuille” (pronounced meel foy) translates to a thousand sheets or leaves, a description of this dessert’s many whisper-thin pastry layers. It’s also sometimes called a “Napoleon” or a “custard slice” depending on the filling and/or region. (There are so many versions!) No matter what you call it, this eye-catching European pastry is an impressive sight to behold in a pâtisserie display case.
