The Charles L. Shrewsbury House is a historic residence located in Madison, Indiana. It was built in 1846 and is a fine example of Greek Revival architecture. The house is a two-story brick structure with a symmetrical facade and a central entrance. It has a low-pitched roof with a wide cornice, and the entrance is flanked by pilasters and topped with a pediment.

The interior of the house features a center hall plan with four rooms on each floor. The rooms are spacious and have high ceilings, original woodwork, and decorative plasterwork. The house also has several original fireplaces with ornate mantels.

The Charles L. Shrewsbury House is significant for its association with Charles L. Shrewsbury, who was a prominent Madison businessman and civic leader in the mid-19th century. He was a partner in the Shrewsbury and Company mercantile firm and served as the mayor of Madison from 1867 to 1871.

Today, the Charles L. Shrewsbury House is a private residence and is not open to the public. However, it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is a significant example of early 19th-century architecture in Madison, Indiana.
