The Kinderhook Historical Society (KHS) is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting the history of Kinderhook, Illinois. Located in the heart of the village, the KHS collects, preserves, and interprets the history of the community and its surrounding areas. The Society offers a variety of programs and resources to the public, including educational lectures and presentations, public tours of local historical sites, and a museum and library.

The KHS Museum and Library is open to the public on a regular basis and displays a large collection of artifacts and photographs from Kinderhook's past. The museum also houses a variety of collections, including books and documents related to the history of the area.
