The Leather Archives & Museum (LA&M) is an educational institution, library, and archives dedicated to preserving and sharing leather, kink, fetish, and BDSM history and culture. Located in Chicago, Illinois, the LA&M was founded in 1991 by Chicago businessman and leather enthusiast Chuck Renslow.
The LA&M is home to over 25,000 artifacts, including leather jackets, whips, floggers, and books. In addition to the physical collection, the LA&M also has thousands of photographs and videos. The LA&M also has a vast library, with over 10,000 books, magazines, and other publications related to leather and BDSM history and culture.
