The Greater Quad City Railway Historical Society (GQCRHS) is a volunteer-run, non-profit organization located in Rock Island, Illinois. Founded in 2003, the GQCRHS is dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the history of the Quad City's railway and public transit systems.

The GQCRHS owns and maintains two vintage passenger cars at their Rock Island facility. The first, Fairfax, is a former Davenport and Rock Island electric car built in 1909. The other, Moline, is a former Rock Island interurban car built in 1917. The cars are open to the public for special events, such as trips across the Quad Cities and private charters. The GQCRHS also offers educational programs to local schools, colleges, and community groups.

The GQCRHS is active in the preservation of local railway and public transit history. They have restored several railway artifacts, including a Pullman sleeper car, a steam locomotive, and a range of passenger and freight cars. The GQCRHS also maintains an extensive collection of historic photos, documents, and memorabilia related to the Quad City railways.

The GQCRHS is open to visitors on select weekends and by appointment. They hold regular open houses and special events, such as the annual Quad Cities Heritage Festival. The GQCRHS also hosts a variety of railway-related lectures and presentations throughout the year.
