The Polo Historical Society was founded in 1974 in the small town of Polo, Illinois. The organization is dedicated to preserving and sharing the history of the area, and its members are passionate about the past. The society is located in the heart of downtown Polo, and is housed in the historic Randell House, a Victorian home that was built in 1872.
The Society is a non-profit organization, and its mission is to document, collect, and preserve the history of Polo and the surrounding area. The Society currently has more than 500 members, and is governed by a board of directors. The board is comprised of local citizens who have a passion for history and a desire to give back to the community.
