The Center for American Archeology (CAA) is a non-profit organization located in Kampsville, Illinois, which is dedicated to the study of the archeology of the American Midwest. Founded in 1939, CAA is one of the oldest and largest archeological research institutions in the United States, and is recognized both nationally and internationally for its work.
