The Richard H. Driehaus Museum is located in the historic Gilded Age mansion on the Gold Coast of Chicago, Illinois. Built in 1879 by renowned architect Daniel H. Burnham as a private residence for wealthy banker Samuel Mayo Nickerson, the Museum was acquired in 2003 by Chicago financier Richard H. Driehaus. Today, the Driehaus Museum offers visitors a unique experience of grandeur and elegance, featuring the original architecture and art collection of its former occupant.

The Driehaus Museum houses an impressive collection of art, furniture, and objects from the period of 1815-1915. Its rooms are outfitted with period furniture, paintings, sculptures, and other decorative objects, offering visitors a glimpse into the world of the wealthy industrialists of the time. The Museum also features a variety of temporary exhibitions, showcasing the works of artists and designers of the Gilded Age.

The Driehaus Museum also offers an array of educational programs, such as lectures, tours, and workshops. Additionally, it hosts a variety of events, including family-friendly activities, lectures, and concerts. The Driehaus Museum is open daily from 10am-5pm, with extended hours on Thursdays until 8pm.
