The Franklin County Historical Society Inc. (FCHS) is a non-profit organization located in Lavonia, Georgia. Founded in 1980, the FCHS has a mission to preserve, protect and promote the rich history of Franklin County. It seeks to increase public awareness of the county’s history and to provide a platform where the citizens of the county can come together to learn and appreciate the county’s past.
