The Northeast Polk County Historical Society (NEPC) is an organization dedicated to preserving and promoting the history of Haines City and the surrounding area. Established in 2007, NEPC operates a museum, library and archive in Haines City, Florida. The museum houses a variety of artifacts and memorabilia from the city's past, as well as contemporary items related to local history. The library includes a wide selection of books, documents, photographs and other materials to aid in research and educational purposes. The archives contain photos, documents, newspaper articles and other historical records from the area.

NEPC is committed to increasing public awareness and appreciation of local history. The Society sponsors a variety of educational events and activities, such as lectures, workshops, field trips, and special exhibitions. The organization also hosts an annual Heritage Festival that features traditional music, dance, and crafts.

In addition, NEPC sponsors and supports local historical research projects. The Society works closely with local schools, universities, and other organizations to facilitate educational opportunities and to ensure that local history is taught and studied.
