The Temple Terrace Preservation Society Inc. is a Florida 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and protection of the unique historical, architectural and cultural heritage of Temple Terrace, Florida. The Society's mission is to preserve and protect the character of Temple Terrace by promoting public awareness, education and advocacy of historic preservation and the community's history.

The Society was founded in 1998 by a group of local citizens who saw the need to preserve the character of the community, especially its historic buildings and landscapes. Since then, the Society has worked to preserve and protect the historic district of Temple Terrace. The Society manages a local historic preservation program to protect and document the community's architectural, archaeological and cultural resources.

The Society also strives to promote public education and advocacy of historic preservation through public forums, lectures, and other activities. The Society collaborates with local government and other organizations to protect Temple Terrace's heritage and ensure that its historic sites are preserved for future generations.

The Society has also been involved in many projects to help preserve and protect Temple Terrace's history. These include educational tours of the city, restoration of historic buildings, and the construction of a walking tour of the city.

The Society is open to all residents, businesses and organizations in Temple Terrace, as well as visitors and tourists. The Society is funded by donations, grants, and membership dues.
